After fighting to stay in the Lowland League for a few years the Vale were finally relegated after a horrendous season which ended with only 5 points being won.

During the season the Vale had four different managers , Chris Anderson, Alex Munro, Grant Sandison and Michael Wilson and without stability and the lack of quality players, they finsihed the season with a goals against total of 156 and only 10 goals scored.

Some really heavy defeats were experienced throughout the season including a 13-0 beating from the the champions Bonnyrigg Rose.

They were beaten in the First Round of the Scottish Cup away to Brechin City by 5-0.

They were also beaten in the EOS Qualifying Cup by Jeanfield Swifts 4-1 and by Pumpherson Juniors in the South Challenge Cup 5-1.

However, they did mange a play off in the Lowland League Cup section with Gala Fairydean Rovers which they eventually lost 3-0.
