Vale of Leithen FC are delighted to announce that they have appointed Michael Wilson to the position of head coach. Michael joins the club from Peebles Rovers where he has been first team manager for several years.
An experienced manger having managed at both junior and senior level, Michael brings experience as well as enthusiastic and positive coaching with which he hopes to then implement onto the football park.
Michael has said, “he does not under estimate the challenges that lie ahead of him however is very excited in getting started and tackling these as well as hoping to keep the Vale in the Lowland league for next season.
Working alongside Michael, will be his assistant from Peebles -Ross McLaren.
Ross has been eager to take on a new challenge in recent months and an opportunity like this was perfect for him. He is looking forward to driving the team forward in a more positive direction, developing current squad players as well giving them stability and fresh ideas.
