Brechin City vs Vale of Leithen Sat 18th Sept.

After receiving local interest since last nights 1st round draw the club have decided to arrange transport to the tie for supporters. A maximum of 20 seats are available on the coach which is provided by one of the clubs main Sponsors-BARC Coach Hire LTD and will be available on a first come basis. £15 will be the cost of a seat with pick up timings as below:

08:30 depart Innerleithen

08:45 pick up Peebles

09:15 pick up Penicuik

09:30 pick up Dreghorn (Edinburgh)*

Approximate return to Innerleithen 21:00hrs Should anyone fancy a wee day out in Brechin then please message/call/text Michael Hogarth to reserve your seat.

Spectators back at Victoria Park

The long wait is over. This Saturday (26 June) will see spectators return to Victoria Park when the Vale take on Hawick Royal Albert in a pre season friendly.

As the season’s league fixtures have been announced, the club has also launched its season tickets for next year, with saves supporters over 40% compared to matchday pricing.

Both Season Tickets and Matchday tickets are available on the day via cash or card payment, or can be purchased online via the club’s website www.valeofleithen.co.uk

Saturday’s friendly kicks off at 2pm at Victoria Park.

Fixtures Announced

The fixtures for new Lowland League season have been published. The Vale will open the season at home to Cumbernauld Colts on Saturday 17 July, followed by a visit to East Stirlingshire on Wednesday 21 July and a trip to BSC Glasgow on Saturday 24th.

The Old Firm colt teams will visit Victoria Park on Saturday 14 August (Celtic) and on 26 December (Rangers). The Vale will travel to Netherdale on New Years Day for a Borders Derby match against Gala Fairydean. The First Round of the Scottish Cup is on Saturday 18 September.

Commenting, Manager Chris Anderson said: “With pre season well underway, everyone is looking forward to the league campaign getting underway. This will be out ninth season in the Lowland League having been founding members, and our first priority is to ensure we remain in the league for the tenth season.”
